- Stewart Billingsly was born in New Berlin on Luna, and spent his childhood travelling from world to world with his father, a small time hustler. He spent several years on an independant merchant ship which made most of its profit transporting illegal goods.
Tiring of the life, he purchased a new identity as Simon Jones-Worthing in order to join Starfleet as an enlisted man, training as a Life Sciences specialist. If his true background becomes known, he will face court-martial for falsifying his background, and could serve time in a rehab colony for his smuggling activities.
His first tour of duty with Starfleet was surveying the newly discovered planet Mitchell's World. He volunteered for the Dyson Base mission reasoning that it would be a quiet assignment where he could avoid attention.
