- Height: 1.85m
- Mass: 60kg
- Complexion: very dark
- Hair: black
- Eyes: black
- Nyota is tall, dark and very attractive. She is descended from the Bantu and Masai peoples of the Africa continent on Earth, and has inherited their lean, athletic physique. She is outgoing and friendly, and has a passion for learning about new cultures. She is an absolute disaster as a cook, ruefully claiming that she could messup replicating a cup of water, and thus is extremely appreciative of a chance to get back to Freeman's Island and the weekly barbecues. She is in training for the annual Starbase 21 Marathon. She keeps a small ultralight aircraft/hang glider at Freeman's Island.
