- John Severin was born in Halifax, on Earth's North American continent. He has always been fascinated with technology, especially alien technology. He joined Starfleet as a Technological Assessment Specialist in order to fulfill this litelong passion. While in training, he was required to take Physical Enhancement training due to his sickly appearance.
