The primary small arm of the Morrow Project forrces is the Steyr Armee Universal Gewehr, or AUG. It is a futuristic polymer framed "bullpup" design in 5.56mm Nato, with integral telescopic sight.
The primary sidearm of the Morrow Project is the 9mmP polymer framed Glock 17. The Glock series of pistols is unique in having no safety lever, having instead the patented "safe-action trigger."
Common variants of the Glock handgun in use by the Morrow Project are the 9mmP Glock 26, a diminutive "hideout" pistol, and the 9mmP Glock 18, a "machine-pistol" variant. It varies visibly from the Glock-17 in having a selector lever.

Major Piper carries a Sig/Sauer P226 in 9mmP.
The more common submachine gun in use is the unusual Calico M-950 in 9mmP, with its striking 100-round helical drum magazine.
One of the deceased team members, Ken Hunt, was a Parks Canada ranger with a Tranquiliser pistol equipped with an extension barrel and a detachable shoulder stock. The pistol alone is a standard .22 pistol, but fires Tranquilser darts from the optional barrel using blanks for propellant. Darts may only be fired with blanks.
Hunt, a former Canadian Forces sniper, also had a Parker-Hale C3A1 sniper rifle.
The other deceased member, David Alexander, has an Atchisson AA12 assault shotgun.

The standard field uniform for the Morrow Project is a two-piece woodland camouflage uniform with matching ball-cap and black leather boots. The Morrow Project patch is worn on the right shoulder beneath a national flag, a name tape on the right breast, and the Mars, Recce or Science division patch on the left shoulder.

The standard light vehicle for Morrow Project Recce Teams is the XR-311, a military "dune-buggy" style vehicle. It is variously armed with an M-60 7.62N machine gun, an M2HB .50BMG machine gun, a 20mm XM-19 grenade launcher, or a TOW missile launcher. The XR-311 used by the Morrow Project has been modified to use a nuclear isotope powered electric motor in place of the original gas/diesel engine. Standard equipment includes a canvas roof. Recce Team 42's vehicles each mount a single M2HB with 5 belts of ammunition.
