The current Starfleet uniform consists of a unisex-styled blue denim jumpsuit with Branch coloured piping on the shoulders, worn with black ankle-height boots. Branch colours are gold for Command, teal for Sciences and red for Operations. All personnel within a department wear the branch colour of the parent branch.
All uniforms are shown in Command branch colours unless otherwise specified.

The Starfleet insignia patch is worn on the shoulder of the left sleeve.
The Excalibur's insignia patch is worn on the shoulder of the right sleeve.
Officers' rank insignia is worn on the right breast of the tunic, surrounded by the Branch coloured piping. The piping is itself mirrored on the left breast surrounding a denim name tape with red lettering.

Landing parties are issued communicators, scanners and, when conditions warrant, phase pistols or pulse rifles.
   
For access to computer data when not at a console, crewmen use a Personal Access Display Device, or PADD.
