- After the planet Cheron was discovered to have destroyed itself by Lokai and Commissioner Bele in late 2268, the two remaining Cheronians found clues that a shunned minority with white skin and black markings had fled the planet at the height of the nuclear war With the aid of Starfleet, they launched a mission to trace the migration, which had taken place 500 years earlier (circa 1750), Finding them on a planet eight parsecs away in 2272. Jeh'Rah was the first Cheronian hybrid to join Starfleet at age 18, in 2275.
