B0D 1CA is an artifact of the lost Iconian civilization. Found deactivated in an Iconian city on the third moon of a Class J Gas Giant by Calista, she was rebuilt by the renegade Ferengi Dr. Brusk circa 2286 and served as tactical officer of the Armida for five standard years before being disabled in combat by RAdm McCurrvey in 2291, in the alternate-dimensional world of Eberron; and subsequently repaired by Dr. John Smith (a.k.a. Questor), himself an alien android. Using support equipment designed for Project Questor, Boudicca was given a human exterior appearance.

- B0D 1CA's chosen appearance is a slender, medium-height Human woman of vaguely Terran South Pacific appearance. Although only 1.68m tall, she masses a full 100kg due to her construction. She wears a command-white pullover and a maroon synleather waistcoat with the officers' breast insignia, black bloused trousers with a red stripe down the outer leg and black ankle boots. This is based on a proposed uniform tested but not adopted in 2285-2286, for which then-Lt Saavik was one of the test officers.
- Being an android, B0D 1CA is incapable of emotion, often taking things literally when someone uses a metaphor or makes a pun. While she understands the concept of a metaphor, puns utterly escape her grasp. She is intensely curious, especially about emotional responses. Unlike Data a half-century later, she does understand and use contractions and her Human appearance can fool most people.
