- To look at her you would never guess that Jordan Stone's paternal grandmother was Betazoid. Having some Betazoid heritage, she does possess a weak empathic ability. Her real gift, however, is being able to teach children, and instill in them the desire to learn. Ever since she was a young child, Jordan was excited about school. Her parents were wealthy entrepreneurs and hoped for a better life for their daughter. Though they were able to give it to her, Jordan did not want it. She continued on in her schooling, obtaining a university degree and graduating from a teacher training institution. Jordan's glasses are the lates technology, being adaptive polymer which adjust to various viewing conditions and have a built-in heads-up display linked to her PADD.
