Background Notes:
Fenchurch is Arthur Dent's human soulmate. She was named after the Fenchurch Street railway station where she was conceived in the ticket queue (or so her parents claim). She lived in a house in Islington that happened to be on the exact spot where Arthur Dent had lived in a cave two million years earlier.

At one point in their travels throughout the Galaxy, Fenchurch fell prey to a side-effect to having been born in a plural zone: while on a routine hyperspace jump to Allosimanius Syneca, she disappeared from her seat next to Arthur. She re-entered Arthur's life after the destruction of the Earth by the Grebulons, when he was teleported to Milliways by his Babel fish. By sheer coincidence, Fenchurch had secured a waitressing job at Milliways and they subsequently left to work for Elvis at the Domain of the King Bar and Grill.

Appearance and Personality:
Height: 1.7m
Mass: 60kg
Complexion: fair
Hair: brown
Eyes: green

She is tallish with dark hair which fell in waves around a pale and serious face. Standing still, alone, she seems almost somber, like a statue to some important but unpopular virtue in a formal garden. She seems to be looking at something other than what she looks as if she is looking at. Peculiarly, her feet hover 2.5 centimetres above whatever surface she stands on. She has learned Arthur's secret to personal flight.
