Through the transparent dome, a strange sight greets the group. The sky is black, shot through with veils and streamers of red, violet and blue. Massive clouds of stars of all colours of the spectrum are visible in every direction.

A large object hangs in the sky above the dome. It appears to be a massive piece of earth, ripped from the surface of some planet. It is shaped like an inverted cone or a stalactite, with subsidiary cones hanging down about the central mass. At the "upper edge of the object, an irregular rim of green can be seen.

Upon leaving the dome, many more of these objects can be observed floating in the sky. They look like uprooted islands - vegetation can clearly be seen on the rounded upper surface, while below is rich red-brown soil and grey rock. A faint haziness is visible over each one.

OUTPOSTS
Some of the islands have outposts similar to the one in which the Characters woke up. The original one in which the Characters found themselves appears to have been attacked and later destroyed by means of a self-destruct system.
JUNGLE ISLAND
This island is covered in lush tropical jungle. A pathway leads around the edge of the island. The Party acquired the Parrot here.
CHIRPER ISLAND
This island is inhabited by a colony of Chirpers, immature Droyne. The Chirpers inhabit large towers in the middle of the island, which is covered by carefully groomed grass.

GLASS ISLANDS
Several islands have been wiped out by nuclear fusion weapons and are covered by sheets of radioactive glass.
THE LAKE
This island is covered in tropical vegetation, in the middle of which is a small freshwater lake. The lake is teeming with fish and is inhabited by elusive mermaids.

This island is the site of a 1950's diner and a Pink 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible, both owned by Elvis, who found himself in the multiverse after faking his death. The Domain of the King is a spatio-temporal nexus, a manifestation of the Inn of Dionysus, and exists simultaneously in mant times and places.
