 The expanded main Dyson Base installation on Freeman's Island consists of one three-storey building. The central hub of the building houses the administrative, command, scientific and residential facilities. The single-storey wing to the right of the plan contains additional lab spaces and the RRT and flight crew facilities. Beyond is the landing pad for the runabouts and shuttles. Below and to the left of the building are ten long-range remote sensor receivers, which gather signals from sensor probes set by the runabouts throughout the Dyson Sphere. A hundred metres east of the main building is the launch exit for the Peregrines, runabouts and shuttlecraft. |
