

The Standard duty uniform is a branch-coloured tunic with the right sleeve and the right side of the torso in black. Security and Marines wear a branch-coloured tunic with black shoulders and forearms. Diplomatic Corps wear a lavender tunic with the right sleeve and torso in darker lavender, and a vertical grey stripe on the left torso. All are worn with black trousers and short black leather boots. A black leather equipment belt is often worn.
Branch colours are gold for command, blue for sciences and medical, red for operations and security, and green for marines. Starfleet Insignia is incorporated in the combadge on the left breast. Rank insignia isworn on the right shoulder.

The Starfleet insignia is incorporated into the Communicator badge. It is a sculptured version of the Starfleet sail, gold in colour without any markings.
