Class Two Shuttlecraft are small short-range vessels often carried aboard starships. They are generally capable of low Warp velosities, generally following the design of a box with impulse thrusters at the aft and flanked by a pair of warp nacelles. Shuttlecraft often have direct vision windows, and may be boarded by either side doors or rear ramps, sometimes both, and carry anywhere from two to twelve persons. They usually have a crew of two, but can be piloted by a single pilot. From about 2350 forward, shuttlecraft often have transporters as standard equipment. Shuttlecraft generally are unarmed an have only navigational deflectors, but phaser-armed and/or shield-protected variants are often available. Shuttlecraft do not have class names, but usually do have individual names for call-sign identification.

Below is an assortment of Class Two Shuttlecraft from 2150 through 2380.
