 Federation Deepspace Research Station 39 has four radial arms, each leased by the Federation to a different company which conducts experiments in the isolation of interstellar space. Each arm consists of a slender tube tipped with a disc-shaped laboratoty complex. There are two levels to each arm. Spiral staircases link lower and upper levels. An airlock sits at the base of the arm.
