 Owned and commissioned by the Aukhearil clan, Aofahr is a Hkiyrerao class research vessel armed and adapted for exploratory trade. Using a custom built 420 ton streamlined hull, it mounts type-F Jump, type-D Manoeuvre, and a type-F Powerplant, giving it a performance of J-3 and 3g acceleration. Fuel tankage of 139 tons allows one J-3. Adjacent to the bridge is a Model/5 computer with a Model/6 backup by Engineering. The ship mounts 2 triple sand/missile turrets (2M1S fwd, 1M2S aft) and 2 double fusion pop- turrets. Fire control is on the bridge and an unidentified device has been mounted by the backup computer. Required crew are a captain/pilot, navigator, purser, and two engineers. Aofahr also carries two gunners, a cook/medic, a purser/trainee and two apprentice/stewards. Equipped with 10 crew staterooms, 5 passenger staterooms, 10 low berths and 50 tons of cargo space, Aofahr is well prepared for exploratory trading. One armed pinnace and a G-Carrier are carried as ship's vehicles.
