This scouting vessel is. by all accounts, a popular design in the Romulan fleet. lt exists in two principle variants, which ditter mainly in weaponry. Additional variants have been converted lrom the basic Type 1 and used in the civil sector, where they make excellent small merchant ships.
AvoIus' vessel, the Deletham Mosarum, is an S-9 scout. It will not participate in combat, as its olticers are laboard the Doomsday Machine.
