The current Starfleet uniform consists of a maroon tunic with a wrap-around front panel, and a branch colour strap on the right shoulder and left wrist. The tunic is worn with matching black trousers and black calf-height boots. A high-collared, rib-necked, branch colour pullover is worn under the tunic.

Uniforms


Variants include a maroon and grey vest to be worn in place of the tunic, and a black thigh-length skirt favoured by many female officers. Other specialised uniform items are available, including cold-weather, desert and athletic wear. Some of the uniform options and variants in current service are shown below.
